In order to provide you with all these, we have established a set of rules, which we kindly ask you to adhere to both during and after your stay at our lodge.

Information about services
Cabana Paltinu makes every effort to present you with maximum accuracy the services offered.
RESERVATIONS:
According to the laws in force, the order made on this website is considered a contract between the user and SC Cabana Paltinu SRL and must be executed by both parties. This means that SC Cabana Paltinu SRL undertakes to provide the requested services in accordance with the reservations made. There is no minimum period imposed for booking. To make a reservation, please fill out the form on the website www.cabanapaltinu.ro, call the phone numbers (0724) 244 464 (mobile network), or contact us at the email address cabanapaltinu@gmail.com.
CANCELLATIONS:
For individual reservations, guaranteed or prepaid:
The cancellation deadline for a reservation, without incurring penalties, is one day before arrival. The deposit paid will be refunded within 10 days of the cancellation request. In case of cancellation and refund of the advance payment, we will charge a handling fee of 25 lei, plus bank commissions.
For cancellations made less than 24 hours before arrival, the equivalent of the first night's stay will be charged, which will be deducted from the advance payment.
In case of no-show, Cabana Paltinu reserves the right to release the room(s) for the remainder of the stay.
In case of late cancellation, the cost of the first night's stay or the full cost in case of no-show will be charged. We reserve the right to refuse a reservation at any time during the ordering process for various reasons, including:
- the requested room is not available
- identification of an error in the product information, including price or a promotional offer
If there are any issues with an order, we will contact you via email or phone.
RATES:
The rates we can offer vary depending on the type of room you choose, availability, day of the week, and season. We reserve the right to modify the prices displayed on the website when we consider it necessary. The prices displayed are in RON and include VAT, these taxes will be highlighted on the invoice or fiscal receipt issued.
PAYMENT METHODS:
As payment methods, we accept cash payments, credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express), as well as bank transfer.
ARRIVAL (CHECK-IN) AND DEPARTURE (CHECK-OUT):
Check-in to the room can be done from 14:00 to 22:00.
The room must be vacated by 11:00 on the day of departure.
Receiving the room earlier or checking out later than the above-mentioned hours is possible upon request, depending on availability, and any additional costs for these services are available at the reception.
Guests checking out by 11:00 can leave their luggage in the luggage room for up to 24 hours, at no extra cost.
For luggage left in the luggage room for more than 24 hours, storage fees may apply.
CHILDREN:
There are no additional charges for children up to 6 years old staying in the room with their parents, using existing beds. For children over 7 years old, they can be accommodated in the existing room bed at an extra cost of 30 lei, but Cabana Paltinu can provide, subject to availability and at an extra cost (70 lei), an additional bed.
Young people over 12 years old are considered adults.
ADDITIONAL GUESTS:
You can receive guests in your room at Cabana Paltinu between 8:00 and 21:00, at no additional cost. If you receive guests between 21:00 and 8:00, they will need to pay the rate difference for two people and register at the reception.
PETS:
We love animals; however, Cabana Paltinu does not have specially designated areas for animals, so pets are not allowed.
SMOKING:
As we promote an eco-responsible attitude, smoking is not allowed in the rooms at Cabana Paltinu. For our smoking guests, we have set up a special area located outside the lodge, an outdoor terrace, covered with tables and chairs, available 24/7. Smoking is prohibited in the rooms, according to the laws in force. In case of non-compliance, additional costs will be charged for cleaning.
PARKING SPACE:
Parking is available in the private parking spaces of the Lodge, at no additional cost and subject to availability. Although we take all precautions, we do not assume responsibility for theft or damage outside the hotel property.
PERSONAL OBJECTS SAFETY:
Cabana Paltinu is equipped with approved electronic access monitoring systems for rooms. We recommend not leaving valuables in the room or common areas. We do not assume responsibility for forgotten, lost, or presumed stolen items on the premises of Cabana Paltinu.
Environmental Protection:
Bedding and towels are changed every 3 days of stay or at the customer's request, at an additional cost. To report changes in bedding or towels, guests are asked to leave them on the floor in the bathroom.
Copyright:
The website and all its elements (web graphics, texts, programs, etc.) are protected by copyright law. Use without our consent of any element contained on this site is punishable by law.
Limitation of Liability:
Due to current legislation, the Lodge has no responsibility regarding:
Delays or non-attendance at accommodation, which will be charged to the client
- damages, destruction, losses occurring during the stay, which are the responsibility of the client
- incorrect information provided by the buyer. They have the possibility to correct personal data at any time.
- the possibility of contacting viruses by accessing this site or receiving informational or promotional emails.
- discomfort caused by the interruption of access to the site due to the internet service provider (ISP).
- the content or nature of the websites through the links through which a customer reaches the store.
Accidental Damage and Other Notices:
In case of accidental damage to goods owned by the lodge, the real cost will be assessed and paid at the reception or later (as the case may be).
CODE OF CONDUCT:
Behavior in the cabin:
Please respect public peace, do not disturb the comfort of other guests, especially after quiet hours (22:00).
The use of room and hotel utilities outside of these areas is prohibited.
Damages or losses caused will be paid by their author or their legal representative.
CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION
If you contact us by email, fax, or through this website, we may contact you in the future to send you materials and promotional offers or to inform you about events we will organize. We will never use your name or information without your prior consent. You will have the opportunity to let us know if you wish to receive this information in the future.
The cabin guarantees the confidentiality of personal data of all customers. Personal data collected when making a reservation or providing tourism and catering services will not be disclosed to third parties except where the Cabin is required to comply with obligations imposed by applicable law.
In accordance with the requirements of Law no. 677/2001 for the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, the company Cabana Paltinu S.R.L. collects and processes the personal data of its customers only for the purpose of providing tourism and catering services.
The recorded information is intended for use by the operator and is communicated only to the following recipients: the data subject, the legal representatives of the data subject, the authorized representatives of the operator, and other companies in the same group as the operator.
The customer has the right to access the data, the right to intervene, and the right to object to personal data, these rights being exercised in accordance with the provisions of articles 13, 14, 15 of Law no. 677/2001. Thus, any person can exercise the rights listed above by submitting a request to the company Cabana Paltinu, jud Sibiu, Bâlea Lac, Transfăgărășan, drawn up in written form, dated and signed, a request in which the identification data of the person concerned will be mentioned, including the correspondence address, as well as the data on which intervention is requested, the justified reason, and the manner of intervention. Additionally, the person whose data is processed has the right to request, without any justification, in writing, by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, dated and signed, that personal data not be processed by the Cabin.
